| CaesarStone is 93% crushed quartz, one of nature's hardest minerals, combined with polyester resins and pigments.
These materials are compacted under intense vibration, vacuum and pressure into dense, non-poreus slabs of 300 x 137 cm.
These slabs are gauged, calibrated and polished to a perfect finish in a wide range of colours and designs in one of the three possible textural surface finishes: Polished,
Honed or Classic Touch.
With its unique characteristics, CaesarStone is particularly suitable for kitchen worktops. Through the combination of nature and technology, CaesarStone has an exclusive look and unique features. CaesarStone is a very hard material and has a hardness of seven on the Mohs scale. This scale is based on ten materials and measures the hardness of a mineral. Diamonds are at the top of the scale with a hardness of ten. A CaesarStone worktop is scratch-resistant and maintenance friendly. Due to the non-poreus nature of the surface, CaesarStone is also resistant to stains from coffee, beetroot and tea. CaesarStone has a slab thickness of 13 mm, but due to the V-Groove technology CaesarStone is also available with a thicker edge. The worktop can be cleaned with a normal, mild household cleaning agent and a microfilm dot. Glass cleaners may be used to keep the worktop clear of grease strains. Persistent stains and cooked-on spills can be removed by cleaning the countertop thoroughly with a cleaning fluid using the abrasive, green surface on a nylon cleaning sponge. The unique properties of the countertop ensure that no damage will occur. The countertop should then be rinsed thoroughly with water. Colours Click a colour below for a larger view. |
